Vijay warriors and BD Tigers wins on the labour day weekend.
Match No.13 of MSC/ Enjoy Super league T20 witnessed the clash between Vijay Warriors and Deevas kings of Div.1 in the morning.
Winning the toss Captain Patrick Thomas of Vijay opted to field first. Deevas Kings didn’t have the best start as they lost a wicket in the very first over via a Run out.
Deevas skipper Deepak Radhakrishnan15(25) joined Ragul pillay 20(3) to steady things with a solid partnership of 44 runs. Thanks to this partnership also with useful contributions from other batsmen Ramar 14(14), Arul 29(23) Deevas setup a target of 122 runs at the end of their allocated 20 overs.

Vijay Warriors

Upon chasing the score Vijay’s batsmen started strongly with both openers Krishna Naidoo 22(21) and Hanish vekariya 35(42)set up an opening stand of 54 runs. The introduction of Deevas spinner Anterpov proved crucial as he took the priced wicket of a well settled batter Krishna. Despite Deevas bowlers striking at a regular intervals, a crucial partnership of 38 runs by Mukesh 26(25) and Kaushal Patel 20(20) paved way for vijay’s victory on the final over of the match.
Deevas bowler Anterpove bowled a responsible spell by conceding only 12 runs in 4 overs and grabbed 3 wickets.
Batsmen Krishna naidoo of Vijay Warriors was selected as the Player of the Match for his allround performance..

BD Tigers

The afternoon match of Division 2 was played between Vijay Vikings and the Bangladesh Tigers.
Winning the toss Vikings opted to bat first. Batsmen Sunil(10) ,Ashok (11), Baria (13) were among the best performers. The bowlers of BD Tigers were impressive, lead by karan satheesh who bowled a magical spell of 4 overs conceding 13 runs and grabbing 4 wickets and restricted the Vikings to a score of 74/10 in the 19th over.

Upon batting BD tigers batsmen were struggling to chase as they were loosing their wickets at regular intervals but a crucial partnership between Jowel Hossin 17(10) and karan satheesh 22(7) lead them to the victory at the end of 12 overs. Bowler Sudhakar of Vikings grabbed 3 wickets bowling 3 overs and conceding just 10 runs.
Karan Satheesh of Bangladesh Tigers was selected as the player of the match for his allround performance.
